AS Tallinna Vesi kolmanda kvartali majandustulemused

AS Tallinna Vesi müügitulu ulatus tänavu 9 kuuga 570,7 miljoni kroonini, ettevõte on tänavu investeerinud 150 miljonit krooni. Ettevõtte üheksa kuu puhaskasum ulatus 214,4 miljoni kroonini, suurenedes möödunud aasta sama perioodiga võrreldes 5,5 protsenti AS Tallinna Vesi juhatuse esimehe Ian Plenderleithi sõnul võib tänavuse aasta kolmanda kvartaliga rahule jääda. „Olen rahul, et suutsime edukalt lõpule viia läbirääkimised Tallinna linnaga võrkude laiendamise kava maksumuse vähendamise osas ning hea koostöö tahte märgiks leppisime kokku vee-ja kanalisatsioonihindade vähenemises 0,9 protsendi võrra 2010. aastal,“ ütles Plenderleith. AS Tallinna Vesi nõukogu kiitis kolmandas kvartalis heaks investeeringu reoveepuhastusjaama täiendava puhastusetapi loomiseks. Koos biofiltri rajamisega investeeritakse järgneva kahe aasta jooksul Paljassaare reoveepuhastusjaama ligi 200 miljonit krooni, mille tulemusena paraneb reoveepuhastuse kvaliteet edaspidi märkimisväärselt. „Tegu on olulise hetkega AS Tallinna Vesi arengus, sest tõestab ilmekalt millist vastutust kanname ümbritseva keskkonna ning eelkõige just Läänemere ning Tallinna mererandade ees,“ rõhutas Plenderleith. AS Tallinna Vesi's Results of Operations for the 3rd Quarter 2009

During the nine months of 2009 AS Tallinna Vesi's total sales were 570.7 mln EEK, the Company has invested altogether 150 million EEK in 2009. The Company's net profit was 214,4 mln EEK during the nine months of 2009, having increased by 5.5 per cent year on year. AS Tallinna Vesi's Chairman of the Management Board Ian Plenderleith said that the third quarter of the year was quite pleasing. “I am pleased that we managed to successfully conclude negotiations with the City of Tallinn regarding the reduction of the cost of the network extensions program and in the spirit of good cooperation agreed to reduce water and sewerage tariffs for 2010 by 0.9 per cent,” said Plenderleith. In the third quarter of 2009 AS Tallinna Vesi's Supervisory Council approved the investment to build an additional treatment stage at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Together with the biofilter construction, approximately 200 m'EEK will be invested into Paljassaare Wastewater Treatment Plant in the next year and a half, as a result of which wastewater treatment quality will significantly improve. “This is a landmark moment in the development of AS Tallinna Vesi, and demonstrates our commitment to the wider environment, and the Baltic Sea and Tallinn's beaches in particular,” stressed Plenderleith. AS Tallinna Vesi is the largest water company in Estonia providing drinking water and wastewater services to approximately 1/3 of Estonian population.
