Ettevõtte üheksa kuu puhaskasum ulatus 214,4 miljoni kroonini, suurenedes möödunud aasta sama perioodiga võrreldes 5,5 protsenti AS Tallinna Vesi juhatuse esimehe Ian Plenderleithi sõnul võib tänavuse aasta kolmanda kvartaliga rahule jääda. „Olen rahul, et suutsime edukalt lõpule viia läbirääkimised Tallinna linnaga võrkude laiendamise kava maksumuse vähendamise osas ning hea koostöö tahte märgiks leppisime kokku vee-ja kanalisatsioonihindade vähenemises 0,9 protsendi võrra 2010. aastal,“ ütles Plenderleith. AS Tallinna Vesi nõukogu kiitis kolmandas kvartalis heaks investeeringu reoveepuhastusjaama täiendava puhastusetapi loomiseks. Koos biofiltri rajamisega investeeritakse järgneva kahe aasta jooksul Paljassaare reoveepuhastusjaama ligi 200 miljonit krooni, mille tulemusena paraneb reoveepuhastuse kvaliteet edaspidi märkimisväärselt. „Tegu on olulise hetkega AS Tallinna Vesi arengus, sest tõestab ilmekalt millist vastutust kanname ümbritseva keskkonna ning eelkõige just Läänemere ning Tallinna mererandade ees,“ rõhutas Plenderleith. AS Tallinna Vesi on Eesti suurim vee-ettevõte, mis pakub joogivee- ja kanalisatsiooniteenust ligikaudu 1/3 Eesti elanikest. Priit Koff kommunikatsioonijuht 6262209 priit.koff@tvesi.ee
