Central storage of regulated information

Changes to the Submission of Market Announcements from 3 July 2026

From July 2026, the regulated information portal will begin forwarding market announcements to the European Single Access Point (ESAP) platform created by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The platform aims to increase the visibility of EU companies to investors by providing information from all Member States in one place, in a machine-readable and comparable format.

The introduction of the ESAP platform will not directly create new reporting obligations for companies; rather, it will consolidate data already published under existing directives. In this connection, the form for entering market announcements in the regulated information portal will be updated.

Submitting a new announcement

When entering an announcement, the new form now displays information about the issuer in the first section. This information is managed by the Financial Supervision Authority.

In addition to the announcement category, the new form requires specifying whether the announcement contains personal data, whether the submitted information is voluntary, the original language of the information being submitted, and whether the information covers a time period. If the information covers a period, the start and end dates of the information must be added.

When entering an announcement, the text can now be formatted using common formatting options (numbered and bulleted lists, tables).

In addition, attachments in the new form are separated by language, and each attachment must be added to the corresponding language version.

Submitting the announcement in Estonian remains mandatory, while adding an English version is optional.

Submitting a correction announcement

When submitting a correction announcement, all previously completed fields can be changed. In addition, under “Announcement type”, it must be indicated whether this is an addition or a correction.

  • “Modification” should be selected when new information that has not previously been submitted is added to an announcement, clarifying or supplementing the existing information.
  • “Correction” should be selected when previously submitted incorrect or inaccurate information is replaced with correct information.
