Selveri keti müügiefektiivsusele avaldasid negatiivset mõju üleüldine majanduse langus ja tarbimise vähenemine, uute kaupluste madalam müügiefektiivsus käivitusperioodil ning müügiefektiivsuse langus kauplustes, kus 2008. aastal laiendati müügipinda ligikaudu kaks korda. Märtsi lõpus avati Naiste Kingamaailm, mille innovaatilisest väljapanekust leiab lisaks kingadele käekotte, sukke-sokke ning muid aksessuaare. Esimesed nädalad näitasid klientide suurt huvi uue kaupluse vastu, märtsi netokäive oli 0,5 miljonit krooni (0,03 miljonit eurot).
