2008 märtsi statistika

AS Tallink Grupp vedas 2008. aasta märtsis 539 722 reisijat, mis on 14,2% enam  
võrreldes eelmise aasta sama ajaperioodiga. Suurim tõus toimus Tallinn-Helsingi 
liinil, kus 32,3%-sele reisijate arvu kasvule on märkimisväärselt kaasa aidanud 
uue Shuttle teenust pakkuva kiirlaeva Star opereerimine. Star on ainus rasketele
ilmastikuoludele vastav sõidukindel kiire reisilaev Tallinn-Helsingi liinil.    

2008 a. märtsis veeti AS-i Tallink Grupp laevadega reisijaid, kaubaveoühikuid ja
sõiduautosid järgmiselt:

Arengutele avaldasid mõju järgmised asjaolud.                                   

SOOME-ROOTSI                                                                    

M/L SkyWind müügist 2007 aasta augustis tulenes madalam veomahutavus 2008. aasta
märtsis võrreldes 2007. aasta märtsiga.                                         

2008. aasta alguses muudeti M/L Sea Wind sõidugraafikut, mille tulemusena laev  
ei peatu enam Ahvenamaal. Laevaga veetakse peamiselt kaubaveoühikuid erinevalt  
varasemast, mil toimus ka reisijate ja sõiduautode vedu.                        

EESTI-SOOME                                                                     

On lisandunud „Tallink Shuttle“ teenus, mida opereerib uus M/L Star, võrreldes  
Autoexpress kiirlaevade, M/L Vana Tallinna ja M/L Kapella opereerimisega eelmise
aasta samal perioodil.                                                          

EESTI-ROOTSI                                                                    

Erinevalt 2008. aasta märtsist ei opereerinud M/L Kapella 2007. aasta märtsis   
Paldiski ja Kapellskäri vahelisel liinil.                                       

LÄTI-ROOTSI                                                                     

Opereerimine kahe laevaga ja igapäevased väljumised mõlemasse sihtpunkti        
võrreldes ühe laeva opereerimisega eelmisel majandusaastal on suurendanud       
Läti-Rootsi liini veomahtusid.                                                  

SOOME-SAKSAMAA                                                                  

Soome ja Saksamaa vahelist veotulemust mõjutas suurenenud konkurents kaubaveos.

Statistics for March 2008

Message

In March 2008 AS Tallink Grupp transported 539,722 passengers which is an       
increase of 14.2% compared to the March 2007. The highest increase came from    
Tallinn-Helsinki route where the number of passengers increased by 32.3%. This  
positive development is mainly the result of the operations of new Shuttle      
vessel “Star”, being the only high speed vessel resistant to the difficult      
weather conditions.                                                             

AS Tallink Grupp's passenger, cargo unit and passenger car numbers for March    
2008 were the following:

The following operational factors influenced the development.                   

FINLAND-SWEDEN                                                                  

The sale of M/S SkyWind in August 2007 resulted in smaller capacities in March  
2008 compared to March 2007.                                                    

In the beginning of year 2008 M/S Sea Wind schedule was changed so that the     
vessel will not stop in the Aland Islands any more. As a result the vessel is   
now carrying only cargo units compared to passenger, car and cargo mix before.  

ESTONIA-FINLAND                                                                 

Tallink Shuttle service with new M/S Star was operated between Tallinn and      
Helsinki route compared to the Autoexpress service and the operations of M/S    
Vana Tallinn and M/S Kapella in the same period of last year.                   

ESTONIA-SWEDEN                                                                  

Unlike March 2008 M/S Kapella did not operated on the route between Paldiski and
Kapellskär in March 2007.                                                       

LATVIA-SWEDEN                                                                   

The operations of two vessels and everyday departures to both destinations      
compared to one vessel operations in previous financial year have increased the 
volumes on Latvia-Sweden route.                                                 

FINLAND-GERMANY                                                                 

The traffic results were affected by the increased competition in cargo         
transportation.
