Harju Elektri Leedu tehas sõlmis lepingu ajamite juhtimisseadmete tarnimiseks USAsse
Teade
Harju Elekter kontserni Leedu tütarettevõte Harju Elekter UAB sõlmis 1.03.2022 Ameerika Ühendriikide Teraskorporatsiooniga, ärinimega Exploratory Ventures LLC, lepingu madalpinge ajamite ja MCC süsteemide tootmiseks. Need on mõeldud 1500 ajami juhtimiseks nende Arkansase uues Big River Steeli tehases. Tootmine ja tarned toimuvad kuni 2023. aasta aprillini. Lepingu orienteeruv maht on 10 miljonit eurot. 1901. aastal asutatud United States Steel Corporation on juhtiv terasetootja, mis teenindab auto-, ehitus-, seadme-, energia-, konteineri- ja pakenditööstust kõrge lisandväärtusega terastoodetega, nagu U.S. Steeli patenteeritud XG3(TM) kõrgtugev teras. Ettevõte tegeleb ka rauamaagi tootmisega ja aastane toorterase tootmisvõimsus on 22,4 miljonit netotonni. Ameerika Ühendriikides ja Kesk- Euroopas tegutseva U.S. Steeli peakorter asub Pennsylvanias Pittsburghis. Big River Steel kuulub U.S Steelile ning on ainus terase tootmisüksus maailmas, millel on LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) sertifikaat. Harju Elekter UAB pakub inseneri-, lepingutootmise ja täiskoormuse testimise teenuseid süsteemi integraatoritele merendus- ja tööstussektoris. Harju Elekter on enam kui 50-aastase kogemusega rahvusvaheline tööstuskontsern, mille põhitegevusalaks on elektri- ja automaatikaseadmete väljatöötamine ja tootmine. Osa Harju Elektri tehnilistest lahendustest on suunatud taastuvenergia sektorisse, pakkudes päikeseenergia jaamade, elektriautode laadimisseadmete ja muude seotud lahenduste tervikpakette. Eesti, Soome, Rootsi ja Leedu tehastes töötab ligikaudu 900 spetsialisti ning kontserni 2021. aasta müügitulu oli 152 miljonit eurot. Harju Elektri aktsiad on noteeritud Nasdaq Tallinna börsil. The Lithuanian factory of Harju Elekter Group signed an agreement for the supply of motor controls to the USA

The Lithuanian subsidiary of Harju Elekter Group, Harju Elekter UAB, signed a contract on 1 March 2022 with U.S. Steel Corporation (Exploratory Ventures LLC) to produce low voltage drives and MCC systems to control 1500 motors that will be used in new Big River Steel facility in Arkansas. The beginning of production and supplies are scheduled for this year. Production and deliveries will take place until April 2023. The approximate volume of the contract is 10 million euros. Founded in 1901, United States Steel Corporation is a leading steel producer that serves the automotive, construction, appliance, energy, containers, and packaging industries with high value-added steel products such as U. S. Steel's proprietary XG3(TM) advanced high-strength steel. The company also maintains iron ore production and has an annual raw steelmaking capability of 22.4 million net tons. U. S. Steel is headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with operations across the United States and in Central Europe. Big River Steel is part of U.S. Steel Corporation and is the only steel production facility to be LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) certified.
