ASi Tallinna Vesi 2008. aasta investeeringute eelarve on 433 miljonit krooni, mis on pea 150 miljonit krooni enam kui 2007. aastal. Tegemist on suurima investeeringute programmiga läbi aegade, mille põhirõhk on suunatud ühisveevärgi ja -kanalisatsiooni arendamisele pealinnas. Ligikaudu 340 miljonit krooni investeeritakse 2008. aastal uute vee- ja kanalisatsioonitrasside ehitamisesse ning olemasolevate võrkude renoveerimisse. Kokku rajatakse rohkem kui 32 kilomeetrit vee- ja kanalisatsioonitorustikke ning ligi 13 kilomeetrit sadeveetorustikku. “Ehkki 97% pealinna elanikest tarbib juba täna ühisveevärgi ning -kanalisatsiooniteenuseid, on investeeringud vajalikud eelkõige selleks, et minimeerida kogumiskaevudest tulenev võimalik oht keskkonnale ning viia lõpule varemasustatud alade kanaliseerimine linnavalitsuse poolt kinnitatud Tallinna ÜVK arenduskava raames 2011. aasta märtsi lõpuks, ” ütles ASi Tallinna Vesi juhatuse esimees Roch Chéroux. Enamus uusi vee-, kanalisatsiooni- ja sademeveetrasse on planeeritud ehitada Nõmme, Lilleküla, Veskimetsa ning Pirita piirkonnas luues klientidele võimaluse liituda ühisveevärgi ja -kanalisatsiooniga. Koguinvesteeringust üle 62 miljoni krooni suunatakse pealinna veetootmise ja reoveepuhastuse kvaliteeditasemete jätkuvaks parendamiseks. See summa sisaldab Ülemiste sanitaarkaitseala korrastamist, vee- ja reoveepuhastusjaama seadmete uuendamist ning mudatöötlusprotsessi jätkuvat arendamist. “Lisaks torustike ehitamisele on ettevõttel kohustus hoida teenuse kvaliteeti jätkuvalt kõrgel tasemel. 2007. aastal tehtud joogivee analüüside tulemused kinnitasid, et pealinna joogivee kvaliteedinäitajad on läbi aegade parimad. Sellele viitavad ka TNS Emori poolt läbiviidud uuringu tulemused, kust selgub, et kliendirahulolu tähistav indeks on 100-pallisel skaalal tõusnud 73-lt 79-le, mis asetab ettevõtte teiste maailma kommunaalteenuste pakkujatega võrreldes esimese 10% hulka.,“ selgitas Chéroux. Eelmisel aastal investeeris ettevõte enam kui 285 miljonit krooni pealinna kanalisatsiooni ja ühisveevärgi arendamisesse. Capital expenditures budget of AS Tallinna Vesi for 2008 is 433 million kroons

In 2008 the capital expenditures budget of AS Tallinna Vesi is 433 million kroons, which is almost 150 million kroons more than in 2007. This is the largest investment programme throughout the years, the main focus of which has been aimed at the development of public water supply and sewerage system in the capital. In 2008 approximately 340 million kroons shall be invested in the construction of new water and sewerage pipeline and in the renovation of existing networks. Altogether more than 32 kilometres of water and sewerage pipeline and approximately 13 kilometres of storm water pipeline shall be constructed. “Although 97% of the residents of the capital are already today consuming the services of public water supply and sewerage system, the investments are necessary above all in order to minimise the potential risk to environment resulting from setting tanks and to complete the construction of public water supply and sewerage system in the areas established earlier within the Tallinn Public Water Supply and Sewerage Network Development Plan approved by Tallinn City Government by the end of March 2011, ” says Roch Chéroux, the Chairman of the Management Board of AS Tallinna Vesi. It has been planned to construct the majority of new water, sewerage and storm water pipeline in the areas of Nõmme, Lilleküla, Veskimetsa and Pirita, thus providing the customers with the opportunity to connect to the public water supply and sewerage system. More than 62 million kroons from the overall investments shall be aimed at the continuous improvement of the quality levels of water production and wastewater treatment of the capital. This amount includes the reconditioning of the Ülemiste sanitary protection zone, the renovation of the equipment in the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plant and the continuous improvement of the sludge treatment process. “In addition to the construction of pipeline the company has an obligation to continuously maintain a high level of the quality of services. The results of drinking water analyses carried out in 2007 confirmed the achievement of the best ever quality of drinking water in the capital. This is also demonstrated by the results of the survey carried out by TNS Emor, which shows that the index indicating customer satisfaction has increased from 73 to 79 in the scale of 100-poins, which rates the company in the top 10% of world utilities,“ explained Chéroux. Last year the company invested more than 285 million kroons in the development of the public water supply and sewerage system of the capital. AS Tallinna Vesi is the largest water utility in Estonia providing drinking water and wastewater disposal services to approximately one third of the people of Estonia.
