Jäämurdja Botnica prahtimine 2022 suveperioodil
Message
Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation (edaspidi: ?Baffinland") teatas lepingujärgse optsiooni kasutamisest multifunktsionaalse jäämurdja Botnica prahtimiseks 2022. aastal perioodil juuni lõpust oktoobri lõpuni sarnaselt kolmele eelnenud aastale. Täpne prahipäevade hulk sõltub ilmastikuoludest ja muudest tingimustest. ASi Tallinna Sadam tütarettevõte OÜ TS Shipping sõlmis 2018. a suve alguses lepingu Baffinlandiga MPSV Botnica prahtimiseks 2018. aasta suveperioodiks ja iga-aastaste call optsioonidega 2019-2022 suveperioodideks. Kanada kaevandusettevõte Baffinland tegeleb rauamaagi kaevandamisega Baffini saarel Põhja-Kanadas. Vastavalt lepingule osutab Botnica eskort- ja jääseire laeva teenust, reostusseiret ja hädaabi teenuseid. Eelmisel neljal aastal abistas Botnica Põhja-Kanada arktilistes vetes Panamax tüüpi kaubalaevu jääs rauamaagi ekspordil Milne Inlet sadamast avamerele. Vastavalt Transpordiametiga sõlmitud lepingule osutab Botnica talveperioodil 20. detsembrist kuni 20. aprillini jäämurdeteenuseid Eesti rannikuvetes. Botnica prahipäevade arv 2021. aastal kokku oli 236 päeva ja laeva kasutusmäär 65% aastast, 2020. aastal vastavat 249 päeva ja 68%. Tallinna Sadamale kuulub üks Läänemere suurimaid kauba- ja reisisadamate komplekse, mida läbib aastas keskmiselt 10 miljonit reisijat ja 20 miljonit tonni kaupa. Lisaks reisijate ja kaubavedude teenindamisele tegutseb ettevõte laevanduse ärivaldkonnas läbi oma tütarettevõtete - OÜ TS Laevad korraldab parvlaevaühendust Eesti mandri ja suursaarte vahel ning OÜ TS Shipping osutab multifunktsionaalse jäämurdjaga Botnica jäämurde ja konstruktsioonilaeva teenust Eestis ja offshore projektides. Tallinna Sadama gruppi kuulub ka jäätmekäitlusega tegelev sidusettevõte AS Green Marine. Kontserni 2020. a müügitulu oli 107,4 miljonit eurot, korrigeeritud EBITDA 58,4 miljonit eurot ning kasum 28,5 miljonit eurot. Icebreaker Botnica charter in summer 2022

Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation (hereinafter: "Baffinland") declared of using the contractual option to charter the multifunctional icebreaker Botnica in 2022 during the period from the end of June to the end of October. The exact number of chartering days depends on weather and other conditions. In the beginning of summer 2018, the subsidiary company of AS Tallinna Sadam, OÜ TS Shipping, signed an agreement with Baffinland for chartering MPSV Botnica for the 2018 summer period and annual call options for the summer periods in 2019-2022 Baffinland is a Canadian mining company, engaged in the mining of iron ore on Baffin Island in Northern Canada. According to the agreement Botnica provides escort ice management services, oil spill and emergency response services. In the last four years, Botnica assisted Panamax-type cargo vessels in Arctic waters of northern Canada for exporting iron ore from the Milne Inlet port to the ocean. According to an agreement with the Estonian Transport Administration, Botnica provides icebreaking services in Estonian coastal waters from 20(th) December to 20(th) April. In 2021, the total number of Botnica charter days was 236 and the annual utilization rate of the ship was 65%, in 2020 the numbers were 249 days and 68% accordingly. Tallinna Sadam is one of the largest cargo- and passenger port complexes in the Baltic Sea region, which serves annually 10 million passengers and 20 million tons of cargo in average. In addition to passenger and freight services, Tallinna Sadam group also operates in shipping business via its subsidiaries - OÜ TS Laevad provides ferry services between the Estonian mainland and the largest islands, and OÜ TS Shipping charters its multifunctional vessel Botnica for icebreaking and construction services in Estonia and offshore projects abroad. Tallinna Sadam group is also a shareholder of an associate AS Green Marine, which provides waste management services. The group's sales in 2020 totalled EUR 107.4 million, adjusted EBITDA EUR 58.4 million and profit EUR 28.5 million.
