Täna, 3. septembril 2019 on meedias ilmunud info, justkui AS Merko Ehitus kontserni Läti tütarettevõtte SIA Merksi kontoris oleks toimunud läbiotsimine. Konkreetselt viitavad sellele Postimees online oma artiklis ?Läti võimud puistavad Merko kontorit (https://majandus24.postimees.ee/6768506/lati-voimud- puistavad-merko-kontorit)" ning BNS oma artiklis ?Läti kartellileppe uurimises kuulatakse üle ka Merko tütarfirma juhti (http://www.bns.ee/topic/765/news/60485528/)". Praeguse info alusel saame kinnitada, et Läti ametnikud on vestlemas SIA Merksi juhatuse esimehe Oskars Ozolinsiga. SIA Merksi kontoris ei ole toimunud läbiotsimist, ettevõttele ega ühelegi töötajale ei ole esitatud kahtlustust ega süüdistust. ?Today, on 3 September 2019, information has been published in the media?, suggesting that a search has been carried out in the office of SIA Merks, part of AS Merko Ehitus group. In particular, this has been claimed by Postimees online in an article titled "Latvian authorities are going through Merko office" (original: "Läti võimud puistavad Merko kontorit (https://majandus24.postimees.ee/6768506/lati-voimud-puistavad-merko-kontorit)") and by BNS in its article "In connection with inquiry into cartel agreement also the head of Merko's subsidiary is questioned" (original: "Läti kartellileppe uurimises kuulatakse üle ka Merko tütarfirma juhti (http://www.bns.ee/topic/765/news/60485528/)"). Based on current information, we affirm that Latvian officials are talking to Mr. Oskars Ozolins, Chairman of the Management Board of SIA Merks. No searches have been carried out in the office of SIA Merks, no official suspicion or accusation has been charged against the company or any of its employees.
