9. augustil 2019 sõlmiti ASi Merko Ehitus kontserni kuuluva SIA Merks ja Riia Tehnikaülikooli vahel leping ehitusteaduskonna hoone rekonstrueerimiseks Riias, aadressil ??psalas tn 6A. Tööd hõlmavad olemasoleva hoone rekonstrueerimist ning hoone energiatõhususe parandamist. Lepingu maksumus on ligikaudu 11,9 miljonit eurot, millele lisandub käibemaks. Ehitustööd algavad tänavu septembris ning tööde valmimine on plaanitud 2021. aasta märtsis. Construction contract in Latvia (reconstruction of an university building)

On 9 August 2019, SIA Merks, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, and Riga Technical University entered into the contract for the reconstruction of Civil Engineering Faculty located in Riga, ??psalas street 6A. The works include complete reconstruction of an existing faculty building together with increasing the building´s energy efficiency. The value of the contract is approximately 11.9 million euros, plus value added tax. The works will start in September 2019 and are scheduled for March 2021.
