Message
Rahvusvahelise arbitraažimenetluse istungid AS-i Tallinna Vesi ja Eesti
Vabariigi vahel toimuvad järgmisel nädalal 7.-11. novembril 2016 ja
ülejärgmisel nädalal 14.-15. novembril 2016 Prantsusmaal Pariisis.
Kõiki istungeid kantakse otse üle Rahvusvahelise Investeeringualaste Vaidluste
Lahendamise Keskuse koduleheküljel. Lisaks on Rahvusvahelise
Investeeringualaste Vaidluste Lahendamise Keskuse koduleheküljel avaldatud
peamised arbitraažimenetluse käigus esitatud materjalid. Eeldatavasti tehakse
otsus antud küsimuses 2017. aastal.
Taustainfo:
2014. aasta oktoobris alustasid AS Tallinna Vesi ja Hollandi Kuningriigis
registreeritud aktsionär United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. Eesti Vabariigi vastu
rahvusvahelist arbitraažimenetlust Hollandi Kuningriigi ja Eesti Vabariigi
vahel sõlmitud investeeringute soodustamise ja vastastikuse kaitse lepingu
rikkumise tõttu.

Title
Hearings of the international arbitration proceedings start next week
Message
The hearings of the international arbitration proceedings between AS Tallinna
Vesi and the Republic of Estonia will be held next week from November 7th –
11th November 2016 and the following week on November 14th – 15th, 2016 in
Paris, France.
All hearings will be broadcasted live on the ICSID website. In addition,
certain key documents issued during the arbitration process are disclosed on
the ICSID website. The decision is expected in 2017.
Background information:
In October 2014, AS Tallinna Vesi and its shareholder United Utilities
(Tallinn) B.V., registered in the Kingdom of The Netherlands, commenced
international arbitration proceedings against the Republic of Estonia for
breach of the Agreement on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of
Investments between the Kingdom of The Netherlands and the Republic of Estonia.
