Eesti Vabariigi vastu alustatud rahvusvahelises arbitraažimenetluses on määratud protsessi ajakava
Message
17. juunil 2015. aastal, otsustati rahvusvahelise arbitraažimenetluse edasine
ajakava, millega on ühtlasi määratud viimaseks istungiajaks 2016. aasta
november. Sõltumatu rahvusvahelise vahekohtu moodustavad kolm vahekohtunikku.
Kumbki osapool on määranud ühe vahekohtuniku ning kolmas vahekohtunik, kes on
ühtlasi vahekohtu president, on määratud osapooltega kokkuleppel.
Vahekohtu menetlusega seotud korraldused ning otsused, välja arvatud
konfidentsiaalseks tunnistatud dokumendid, on kättesaadavad Rahvusvahelises
Investeeringualaste Vaidluste Lahendamise Keskuse (International Centre for the
Settlement of Investment Disputes) koduleheküljel.
Taustainformatsioon (Börsiteade 14. oktoober 2014):
2014. aasta oktoobris alustasid AS Tallinna Vesi ning Hollandi Kuningriigis
registreeritud aktsionär United Utilities (Tallinn) B.V. Eesti Vabariigi vastu
rahvusvahelist arbitraažimenetlust Hollandi Kuningriigi ja Eesti Vabariigi
vahel sõlmitud investeeringute soodustamise ja vastastikuse kaitse lepingu
rikkumise tõttu. Täpsema selgituse menetluse kohta leiab asjakohasest

Title
The timetable for the International Arbitration Proceedings against the Republic of Estonia has been determined
Message
On 17th of June 2015, the timetable of the International Arbitration
Proceedings was determined, with the final hearing set for November 2016. The
Tribunal of the Proceedings consists of three arbitrators. One arbitrator
appointed by each party and the third, who is the president of the Tribunal,
has been appointed by agreement of the parties.
Procedural orders and decisions issued during the arbitration process, subject
to the redaction of the confidential information, are available on the ICSID
website.
Background information (stock exchange announcement published on 14th of
October 2014):
In October 2014, AS Tallinna Vesi and its shareholder United Utilities
(Tallinn) B.V., registered in the Kingdom of The Netherlands, commenced
international arbitration proceedings against the Republic of Estonia for
breach of the Agreement on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of
Investments between the Kingdom of The Netherlands and the Republic of Estonia.
