Laupäeval 18.aprillil kell 1.48 toimus tavapärase tootmistegevuse käigus
lühiajaline tulekahju Skano Fibreboard kiudplaadivabrikus Püssis, kus süttis
katusel olev soojusvaheti. Tulekahju tõttu on vabrikus hetkel ajutine tööseisak
ning tootmistegevusega alustame uuesti pärast soojusvaheti taastamist.
Tulekahju täpne põhjus ning kahju suurus on väljaselgitamisel, kuid juhtkonna
esmasel hinnangul intsident ettevõtte teise kvartali tulemustele olulist
finantsmõju ei avalda. Kindlustusandjat on intsidendist teavitatud ja vastavalt
kindlustuspoliisile on sellise kahjujuhtumi puhul ettevõtte kindlustushüvitise
omavastutus 10 tuhat eurot.

Fire incident in a heat exchanger in Skano Fibreboard OÜ Püssi factory

On Saturday April 18th a short term fire broke out at 1:48 a.m. in a heat
exchanger on the roof of Püssi fibreboard factory during normal production
process. Due to the fire production process is temporarily stopped in Püssi
fibreboard factory and will be restarted after the heat exchanger is restored.
The exact cause of the fire and total damage is being clarified but according
to management initial estimation the incident won’t have significant financial
impact on company’s Q2 results. The insurance company has been informed about
the incident and according to the insurance contract insurance compensation
deductible is limited to 10 thousand euros in such case.
