AS-i Tallinna Vesi ärikasum vähenes 9,4% võrra
Message
Ettevõtte 2013. aasta 3. kvartali põhitegevuse ärikasum vähenes võrreldes 2012.
aasta sama perioodiga 0,66 miljoni euro võrra 6,31 miljoni euroni,. Languse
peamiseks põhjuseks on muutuvkulude suurenemine. Selle tulemusel vähenes ka
maksustamis eelne kasum möödunud aasta sama perioodiga võrreldes 0,68 miljonit
eurot. 2013. aasta 3. kvartali müügitulu püsis stabiilne, suurenedes võrreldes
2012. aastaga 0,4% võrra 13,12 miljoni euroni.
Juhatuse esimehe Ian Plenderleithi sõnul keskendub ettevõte jätkuvalt teenuse
kvaliteedi parandamisele.
Ettevõte on jätkuvalt veendunud läbipaistva regulatsiooni olulisuses ning
valmis astuma sisulisse dialoogi, arvestades 2001. aastal sõlmitud
erastamislepingu tingimusi. AS-i Tallinna Vesi tariifid püsivad jätkuvalt kohtu
poolt kohtumenetluste ajaks antud õiguskaitsega kehtestatud tasemel.
Õiguskaitse kohaldati, et tagada erastamislepingu tingimuste järgimine Eesti
ametivõimude poolt. Järgmise kohtuistungi aeg ei ole kindlaks määratud.

AS Tallinna Vesi’s operating profit decrased by 9,4%
Message
During the 3rd quarter of 2013, the operating profit from the Company’s main
business activity decreased by 0,66 mln euros to 6.31 mln euros, compared to
the relevant period of 2012, mainly due to the increase in the cost of goods
sold. As a result profit before taxes decreased also by 0,68 mln euros compared
to the same period in 2012. In the 3rd quarter of 2013 the Company’s total
sales remained stable increasing, year on year, by 0.4% to 13.12 mln euros.
Chairman of the Board Ian Plenderleith said that the Company continues to focus
on the improvement of the service quality.
With regards to the matters of regulation the Company has continuously stated
its belief in fully transparent regulation and its willingness to enter into
meaningful dialogue that takes into account the privatization contract signed
in 2001. AS Tallinna Vesi tariffs continue to be on the same level based on
temporary injunction granted by the Court for the period of court proceedings
to protect the Company from the unilateral breach of privatization agreement.
At current time, the date of the next court hearing is not set.
