10. septembril 2012.a. saatis AS Tallinna Vesi Majandus- ja
kommunikatsiooniminister Juhan Partsile pöördumise, palvega teostada
üksikasjalik ning avaliku kajastusega järelevalvemenetlus Konkurentsiameti
poolt kommunaalettevõtetele rakendatava hinnametoodika ning AS-i Tallinna Vesi
tariifide kehtestamise eest vastutava Konkurentsiameti juhi Märt Otsa tegevuse
osas.
8.oktoobril 2012.a. saatis minister Ettevõtte pöördumisele vastuse, mille
kohaselt algatas Majandus- ja kommunikatsiooniminister Konkurentsiameti
peadirektori tegevuse suhtes teenistusliku järelevalve menetlust. Kirjale
lisatud käskkiri annab ülevaate järelevalve menetluse kontrollprotseduuri
tegevustest. Ministri kiri ning käskkiri on lisatud teatele manustena.
Ministri käskkirja alusel on oodata, et menetlusprotsess viiakse lõpule ja
vastav aruanne esitatakse 14. detsembriks 2012.a.
AS Tallinna Vesi hoiab oma investoreid edaspidise informatsiooniga kursis.

The Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications has initiated a supervisory control procedure against the Director-General of the Competition Authority

<span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times,
serif;">On 10th of September 2012, AS Tallinna Vesi submitted a detailed letter
to Mr. Juhan Parts, the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications,
requesting the Minister to conduct a detailed and public enquiry into utility
tariff setting by the Competition Authority, and the conduct of Mr. Märt Ots,
the Director-General of the Competition Authority, as the individual
responsible for setting AS Tallinna Vesi’s tariffs.</span></span>
<span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif;font-size:11pt;">On
8</span><sup style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; ">th<span
style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif;font-size:11pt;"> of October
2012, AS Tallinna Vesi received a reply from the Minister of Economic Affairs
and Communications, stating that the Minister had initiated a supervisory
control procedure against the Director-General of the Competition Authority.
The Minister has additionally included a directive, which contains an overview
of the actions involved in the supervisory control procedure. The Minister’s
letter and directive are appended to the current announcement.</span>
<span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif;font-size:11pt;">Based
on the Minister’s directive, it is anticipated that the investigation
proceedings will be finalised and a report submitted by 14</span><sup
style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; ">th<span
style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif;font-size:11pt;"> of December
2012.</span>
<span style="font-size:11pt;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times,
serif;">AS Tallinna Vesi will inform its shareholders of any further
information as it becomes available.</span></span>
