Eesti Päevalehe ASi nõukogu on otsustanud tänasest, so 7.04.2010 määrata Eesti
Päevalehe ASi uueks juhatuse liikmeks ja ajalehe peatoimetajaks Vallo Toomet.
Vallo Toomet on Eesti Päevalehega olnud seotud pikka aega, kuid lisaks
trükiajakirjanduse töö kogemustele on Toometil varasem kokkupuude ka tele ja
-raadiotööga, mis klassikalise trükimeedia transformeerumise ajastul
multimeediaks on väärt kogemus. Koostöös Vallo Toometiga soovime leida parima
tee Eesti Päevalehe edasiseks arenguks Ekspress Grupi täisväärtusliku liikmena.
Ajalehe senine peatoimetaja ning juhatuse liige Lea Larin kutsutakse
käesolevaga ametist tagasi.
Alates 2007. aastast kuni tänaseni töötas Vallo Toomet Eesti Päevalehe
uudistejuhina.
Vallo Toomet omab 5 ASi Ekspress Grupp aktsiat.

From today, i.e 7 April 2011, the Supervisory Board of Eesti Päevalehe AS has
decided to elect Vallo Toomet as the new management board member and the Editor
In Chief of Eesti Päevaleht.
Vallo Toomet has been involved with Eesti Päevaleht for a long time but in
addition to experiences in print journalism, Toomet also has previous
experience in TV and radio work which in the era where classical print media is
transforming into multimedia is a worth know-how.
Hereby, the current Editor In Chief and the member of the management board, Lea
Larin, will be recalled.
Since 2007 until today, Vallo Toomet served as the Head of News of Eesti
Päevaleht.
Vallo Toomet owns 5 shares of AS Ekspress Grupp.
