Merko andis tähtaegselt üle 550 miljonit krooni maksnud Ämari liiklusala ehitustööd

AS Merko Ehitus andis Kaitseministeeriumile tähtaegselt üle Ämari lennubaasi liiklusala ehitustööd. Tegu oli Merko ühe suurima insenerehituse projektiga, mille ehitustööd maksid kokku 550 miljonit krooni (käibemaksuta). Merko paigaldas Ämari objektile kokku 175 km sadevee, drenaaži- ja kaablitorustikke. Paigaldatud sai 120 km kaableid ning rajavalgustustulesid kokku 1000 tk. Objektil teostatud kaevetööde maht oli 300 000 kuupmeetrit, objektile toodi täitematerjali 464 000 tonni ehk kokku 19 000 autokoormat. Lammutustööde käigus lammutati 310 000 ruutmeetrit vana betoonkatendit. Asfaltkatendit paigaldati 259 000 ruutmeetrit ning rohealasid planeeriti 450 000 ruutmeetrit. AS-i Merko Ehitus juhatuse liikme Andres Agukase sõnul oli Ämari lennubaasi liiklusala ettevõtte üks suurim projekt insenerehituse vallas. „Merko rajas kõrgetele tehnilistele nõuetele vastava asfalt- ja betoonkattega lennuraja, koos sinna juurde kuuluvate insenertehniliste rajatistega. Andsime objekti Kaitseministeeriumile üle ettenähtud graafikus ja valmiduses, mis võimaldas tellijal lepingu lõpptähtajaks teha kõik omapoolsed seadistus-ja häälestustööd. Tunnustame Kaitseministeeriumi meeskonda konstruktiivse koostöö eest,“ sõnas Agukas. Merko Ehitus on Baltimaade juhtiv ehitusettevõte, kus töötab üle 800 töötaja. AS Merko Ehitus completed the construction of the manoeuvring area of the Ämari airbase and handed it over to the client, the Estonian Ministry of Defence, on schedule. This was one of the biggest engineering projects in Merko's history; the total cost of construction was EEK 550 million (without VAT). In total, Merko laid 175 kilometres of storm water and drainage piping and cable ducts on the Ämari site, as well as 120 kilometres of cables and one thousand runway lights. The project involved 300 000 cubic metres of earthmoving and required the delivery of 464 000 tonnes (or 19 000 truckloads) of filling material. Before the new manoeuvring area was built, Merko removed 310 000 square meters of old concrete surfacing. Merko also laid 259 000 square meters of asphalt surfacing and landscaped 450 000 square meters of the property. According to Mr Andres Agukas, a member of the management board of AS Merko Ehitus, the manoeuvring area of the Ämari airbase was one of the largest engineering projects in the company's history. “Merko built the asphalt and concrete-surfaced runway that meets the highest technical requirements, plus the required ancillary engineering facilities. The site was completed and delivered to the Ministry of Defence on schedule and in the agreed condition, allowing the client to carry out all the additional adjustments and setting-up by the final deadline. We want to thank the Ministry's team for their constructive cooperation,” said Agukas.
