Alates 2.09.2010 lahkub ametist Delfi Eesti peatoimetaja Raimo Ülavere, tema kohustused võtab üle Delfi Grupi sisujuht Urmo Soonvald. Ülavere lahkub ametist isiklikel põhjustel. „24 tundi ööpäevas uudiseid tootva organisatsiooni tempo ning selle käigushoidmisega seotud kiireloomuliste kohustuste maht oli minu jaoks üllatav,“ märkis Ülavere. Ta lisas, et vaadates Delfis töötavaid inimesi, on ta kindel, et Delfi sälitab oma positsiooni suurima online uudistekanalina. Delfi peatoimetaja kohustusi hakkab täitma Delfi Grupi sisujuht Urmo Soonvald, kes enne Ülavere ametisse asumist töötas Delfi Eesti peatoimetajana 2009. aasta veebruarist 2010. aasta augistini. Soonvald jätkab tööd Delfi Grupis ja temast saab ka Delfi Eesti juhatuse liige. "Asun taas pühenduma Eesti Delfile. Samas on mul varasemast parem võimalus vahendada Eesti, Läti, Leedu ja Ukraina Delfide kogemusi ja know-how´d erinevate riikide vahel," lausus Soonvald. Raimo Ülavere, the Editor-in-Chief of Delfi Estonia resigns on 2 September 2010. Urmo Soonvald, the content developer of Delfi Group, will take over Ülavere's responsibilities. Ülavere resigns due to personal reasons. „The pace of the organization producing news 24/7 and the capacity of urgent duties to operate such organization suprised me,“ stated Ülavere. He also added that watching the people working in Delfi, he is certain that Delfi will maintain its position as the biggest online news channel. Urmo Soonvald, who served as the editor-in-chief of Delfi Estonia from February 2009 till August 2010, will return as the editor-in-chief of Delfi Estonia. Soonvald will continue his work overseeing the content development in Delfi Group. Urmo Soonvald will also be appointed as the member of the Management Board of Delfi Estonia. „I will again commit myself to Delfi Estonia. However, now I have a better opportunity to share the experiences and the know-how of Delfi Estonia, Delfi Latvia, Delfi Lithuania and Delfi Ukraine between different countries,“ said Soonvald.
