18. veebruaril 2010 sõlmiti riigihankel soodsaima pakkumise teinud konsortsiumi AS Merko Ehitus / Tallinna Teede AS / SIA Merks ja Maanteeameti vahel töövõtuleping E20 Loo-Maardu teelõigu ehituseks. Lepingu kohaselt ehitatakse 3,2 kilomeetrine põhitee Loost kuni Maarduni ümber 6-rajaliseks ning järgnev 3,6 kilomeetrine lõik viiakse vastavusse I klassi maantee nõuetega. Lisaks ehitatakse 2 eritasandilist ristmikku, 5,8 kilomeetrit kogujateid, 8 kilomeetrit kergliiklusteid ning osaliselt ehitatakse ümber Jõelähtme eritasandiline ristmik. Lepingu maksumus on 288,84 miljonit krooni (ilma tellija 10%-lise varuta), millele lisandub käibemaks ning tööde teostamise tähtajaks on 2012. aasta algus. 1 EUR = 15,6466 EEK Alar Lagus Juhatuse liige 6 805 109 alar.lagus@merko.ee

On 18 February 2010, the Estonian Road Administration and the consortium of AS Merko Ehitus / Tallinna Teede AS / SIA Merks (who had submitted the best tender in the public procurement competition) concluded a contract of services, for the construction of the E20 Highway between Loo and Maardu. According to the contract, the 3.2-kilometre section of the main road, from Loo to Maardu, will be rebuilt into a six-lane road; and the following 3.6-kilometre section will be modified to meet the requirements for Class 1 roads. Also, the following will be built: two grade-separated junctions; 5.8 kilometres of collector roads; 8 kilometres of cycle paths; and the Jõelähtme grade-separated junction will be partially altered. Price of the contract is EEK 288.84 million (without customers 10% reserve and without VAT).
