2009 augusti ja 2008/2009 majandusaasta IV kvartali statistika
Message
2008/2009 majandusaasta neljandas kvartalis (juuni-august) teenindas AS Tallink Grupp 2 701 575 reisijat, mis on 14,3% enam võrreldes eelmise majandusaasta neljanda kvartaliga. Veetud kaubaautode maht langes 21,9% võrra 58 634 ühikuni. Augustis oli kontserni reisijate arv 851 919 mis on ligi 9% võrra suurem võrreldes eelmise aasta augustiga. EESTI-SOOME Alates 2008. aasta septembrist ei jätka liinil enam Superfast laevad mis varasemalt tegid kokku ühe edasi-tagasi reisi päevas. EESTI-ROOTSI Uus kruiisilaev Baltic Queen alustas opereerimist 24 aprillil 2009 ja vahetas välja väiksema Romantika, mis suundus Riia-Stockholmi liinile. LÄTI-ROOTSI Mais 2009 vahetas kruiisilaev Romantika välja liinil varem opereerinud Regina Baltica. SOOME-SAKSAMAA Liinil jätkavad kaks Superfast laeva varasema kolme asemel kuna alates 2008. aasta septembrist ei opereeri liinil enam Superfast IX. In the fourth quarter of the 2008/2009 financial year (June-August) AS Tallink
Grupp transported 2 701 575 passengers which is 14,3% increase compared to the
previous year. The number of trucks and trailers decreased by 21,9% to 58 634
units in the fourth quarter.
In August 2009 AS Tallink Grupp transported 851 919 passengers which is 9%
increase compared to August 2008. Passenger volumes and market shares increased
in all of our main routes.
AS Tallink Grupp's passenger, cargo unit and passenger car numbers for August
2009 and fourth quarter of the financial year were the following:

The following operational factors influenced the development.
ESTONIA-FINLAND
From September 2008 the Superfast vessels stopped crusising daily
Tallinn-Helsinki roundtrip.
ESTONIA-SWEDEN
New cruise ferry Baltic Queen started operations in 24 April 2009 and replaced
smaller MS Romantika which moved to Riga-Stockholm route.
LATVIA-SWEDEN
In May 2009 cruise ferry Romantika replaced smaller M/S Regina Baltica.
FINLAND-GERMANY
The operations in the route are continued with the two vessels instead of three
as Superfast IX has stopped from September 2008 and is employed in the long-term
charter.
