AS Maaleht ja Eesti Ekspressi Kirjastuse AS ühendatakse alates 01.oktoobrist 2009 ning äriühingu uueks nimeks saab AS Eesti Ajalehed. Lehed jätkavad ilmumist senisel kujul oma nimede all ja eraldi toimetustega. Ühinenud ettevõtte juhatuse esimeheks saab ASi Maaleht juhatuse esimees Kadi Lambot. AS Maaleht and Eesti Ekspressi Kirjastuse AS will be united starting from 1 October 2009 and the new business name of the company is AS Eesti Ajalehed. The publication of newspapers will continue the same way as today under current brands and separate editorial staffs. Kadi Lambot, the Chairman of the Board of Maaleht continues as the Chairman of the Board of the merged company.
