2008 novembri ja 2008/2009 majandusaasta I kvartali statistika
Message
AS Tallink Grupp vedas 2008 aasta novembris 574 999 reisijat, mis on üle 19% suurem võrreldes eelmise aasta novembriga. 2008 a. novembris veeti AS-i Tallink Grupp laevadega reisijaid, kaubaveoühikuid ja sõiduautosid järgmiselt: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | November | November | muutus | I kvartal | I kvartal | muutus | | | 2008 | 2007 | | 2008/2009 | 2007/2008 | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Reisijad | 574 999 | 480 974 | 19,5% | 1 786 205 | 1 510 079 | 18,3% | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 213 883 | 192 819 | 10,9% | 707 979 | 630 473 | 12,3% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 279 915 | 213 828 | 30,9% | 805 144 | 634 301 | 26,9% | | Soome | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 48 920 | 47 848 | 2,2% | 157 298 | 147 162 | 6,9% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Läti- | 28 005 | 20 100 | 39,3% | 98 043 | 72 635 | 35,0% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 4 276 | 6 379 | -33,0% | 17 741 | 25 508 | -30,4% | | Saksamaa | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Kaubaveo | 22 926 | 29 844 | -23,2% | 76 313 | 91 897 | -17,0% | | ühikud | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 7 749 | 8 581 | -9,7% | 26 270 | 27 285 | -3,7% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 8 129 | 10 337 | -21,4% | 28 397 | 30 831 | -7,9% | | Soome | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 3 190 | 3 765 | -15,3% | 10 352 | 11 872 | -12,8% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Läti- | 1 578 | 1 155 | 36,6% | 4 484 | 3 292 | 36,2% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 2 280 | 6 006 | -62,0% | 6 810 | 18 617 | -63,4% | | Saksamaa | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Sõiduautod| 54 628 | 39 754 | 37,4% | 174 471 | 132 092 | 32,1% | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 7 692 | 8 331 | -7,7% | 31 064 | 34 314 | -9,5% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 38 575 | 24 156 | 59,7% | 113 380 | 70 252 | 61,4% | | Soome | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Eesti- | 3 055 | 2 768 | 10,4% | 10 780 | 10 184 | 5,9% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Läti- | 4 017 | 2 804 | 43,3% | 13 801 | 10 687 | 29,1% | | Rootsi | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Soome- | 1 289 | 1 695 | -24,0% | 5 446 | 6 655 | -18,2% | | Saksamaa | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arengutele avaldasid mõju järgmised asjaolud. Mahutavuselt suurem, 2006 aastal ehitatud, M/L Galaxy opereerib Turu-Stockholmi liinil M/L Silja Festival asemel. Korralisest dokiremondist tulenevalt ei opereerinud M/L Silja Serenade 2008 aasta novembris kaheksal päeval. EESTI-SOOME Tallinn-Helsingi liinile lisandus 2008. aasta aprilli lõpus teise „Tallink Shuttle“ laevana Superstar. Uus kruiisilaev Baltic Princess on vahetanud välja liinil varem opereerinud Galaxy, mis suundus Turu- Stockholmi liinile. Alates 2008. aasta septembrist ei jätka liinil enam Superfast laevad mis varasemalt tegid kokku ühe edasi-tagasi reisi päevas. LÄTI-ROOTSI M/L Silja Festival, mis on suurem mahutavuselt vahetas välja laeva Vana Tallinn. SOOME-SAKSAMAA Liinil jätkavad kaks Superfast laeva varasema kolme asemel kuna alates 2008. aasta septembrist ei opereeri liinil enam Superfast IX. Soome ja Saksamaa vahelist veotulemust mõjutas suurenenud konkurents kaubaveos. Janek Stalmeister Finantsdirektor AS Tallink Grupp Tel. +372 6409 800 e-mail: janek.stalmeister@tallink.ee

Statistics for November 2008 and I quarter of 2008/2009 financial year
Message
In November 2008 AS Tallink Grupp transported 574 999 passengers which is more than 19% increase compared to November 2007. Passenger volumes and market shares increased in all of our main routes. While the passenger cars transportation continued to increase in November 2008 the slowing economies are causing the adverse impact to the cargo units' development. AS Tallink Grupp's passenger, cargo unit and passenger car numbers for November 2008 were the following: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | November| November | change | | I Quarter | I Quarter | change | | | 2008 | 2007 | | | 2008/2009 | 2007/2008 | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |Passengers| 574 999 | 480 974 | 19,5% | | 1 786 205 | 1 510 079 | 18,3% | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 213 883 | 192 819 | 10,9% | | 707 979 | 630 473 | 12,3% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 279 915 | 213 828 | 30,9% | | 805 144 | 634 301 | 26,9% | | Finland | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 48 920 | 47 848 | 2,2% | | 157 298 | 147 162 | 6,9% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Latvia- | 28 005 | 20 100 | 39,3% | | 98 043 | 72 635 | 35,0% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 4 276 | 6 379 | -33,0% | | 17 741 | 25 508 | -30,4% | | Germany | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Cargo | 22 926 | 29 844 | -23,2% | | 76 313 | 91 897 | -17,0% | | Units | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 7 749 | 8 581 | -9,7% | | 26 270 | 27 285 | -3,7% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 8 129 | 10 337 | -21,4% | | 28 397 | 30 831 | -7,9% | | Finland | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 3 190 | 3 765 | -15,3% | | 10 352 | 11 872 | -12,8% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Latvia- | 1 578 | 1 155 | 36,6% | | 4 484 | 3 292 | 36,2% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 2 280 | 6 006 | -62,0% | | 6 810 | 18 617 | -63,4% | | Germany | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Passenger| 54 628 | 39 754 | 37,4% | | 174 471 | 132 092 | 32,1% | | Vehicles | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 7 692 | 8 331 | -7,7% | | 31 064 | 34 314 | -9,5% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 38 575 | 24 156 | 59,7% | | 113 380 | 70 252 | 61,4% | | Finland | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Estonia- | 3 055 | 2 768 | 10,4% | | 10 780 | 10 184 | 5,9% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Latvia- | 4 017 | 2 804 | 43,3% | | 13 801 | 10 687 | 29,1% | | Sweden | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Finland- | 1 289 | 1 695 | -24,0% | | 5 446 | 6 655 | -18,2% | | Germany | | | | | | | | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following operational factors influenced the development. FINLAND-SWEDEN M/S Sea Wind schedule was changed so that the vessel will not stop in the Aland Islands any more. As a result the vessel is now carrying only cargo units compared to passenger, car and cargo mix before. M/S Galaxy which is larger in capacity operates in the Turku-Stockholm route instead of M/S Silja Festival. Due to the scheduled docking M/S Silja Serenade did not operate 8 days in November 2008. ESTONIA-FINLAND Since April 2008 the second Tallink Shuttle vessel Superstar operates between Tallinn and Helsinki. New cruise ferry M/S Baltic Princess has replaced the 2006 built M/S Galaxy which moved to Turku-Stockholm operations. From September 2008 the Superfast vessels are not doing the daily Tallinn-Helsinki roundtrip any more. LATVIA-SWEDEN M/S Silja Festival which is larger in capacity has replaced M/S Vana Tallinn. FINLAND-GERMANY The operations in the route are continued with the two vessels instead of three as Superfast IX has stopped from September 2008 and is employed in the long-term charter. The traffic results were affected by the increased competition in cargo transportation. Janek Stalmeister Financial Director AS Tallink Grupp Tel. +372 6409 800 e-mail: janek.stalmeister@tallink.ee
