2008 veebruari ja 2007/2008 II kvartali statistika
Message
AS Tallink Grupp vedas 2008 aasta veebruaris 606 058 reisijat, mis on käesoleva
majandusaasta seni edukaim veotulemus. Võrreldes eelmise aasta veebruariga
kasvas reisijate arv 33% kusjuures positiivset arengut reisijate veos oli näha
kõikidel liinidel. Suurim tõus toimus Tallinn-Helsingi liinil, kus 51%-sele
reisijate arvu kasvule on märkimisväärselt kaasa aidanud. uue Shuttle teenust
pakkuva kiirlaeva Star opereerimine. Star on ainus talvistele rasketele
ilmastikuoludele vastav sõidukindel kiire reisilaev Tallinn-Helsingi liinil.
2008 a. veebruaris ja 2007/2008 majandusaasta teises kvartalis veeti AS-i
Tallink Grupp laevadega reisijaid, kaubaveoühikuid ja sõiduautosid järgmiselt:

Arengutele avaldasid mõju järgmised asjaolud.
SOOME-ROOTSI
M/L SkyWind müügist 2007. aasta augustis tulenes madalam veomahutavus 2008.
aasta veebruaris võrreldes 2007. aasta veebruariga.
Muutunud on M/L Silja Europa sõidugraafik. Laev sõidab liinil Turu-Stockholm,
varasemalt Turu-Kapellskär.
Muutunud on M/L Sea Wind sõidugraafik, mille tulemusena laev ei peatu enam
Ahvenamaal. Laevaga veetakse peamiselt kaubaveoühikuid erinevalt varasemast, mil
toimus ka reisijate ja sõiduautode vedu.
EESTI-SOOME
Võrreldes eelmise aasta sama perioodiga pakub uus M/L Star „Tallink Shuttle“
teenust M/L Vana Tallinna ja M/L Kapella opereerimise asemel.
EESTI-ROOTSI
Tulenevalt plaanipärasest dokist ei opereerinud kaubalaev Kapella 2008. aasta
jaanuaris ning alustas opereerimist uuesti 4ndal veebruaril.
LÄTI-ROOTSI
Opereerimine kahe laevaga ja igapäevased väljumised mõlemasse sihtpunkti,
võrreldes ühe laeva opereerimisega eelmisel majandusaastal, on suurendanud
Läti-Rootsi liini mahtusid.
Tulenevalt plaanipärast dokist ei opereerinud M/L Regina Baltica 2008. aasta
veebruaris 6 päeva.
SOOME-SAKSAMAA
Soome ja Saksamaa vahelist veotulemust mõjutas suurenenud konkurents kaubaveos.
Uue, tervet kontserni hõlmava broneerimissüsteemi kasutuselevõtuga on paranenud
statistiliste andmete kättesaadavus. Sellest tulenevalt hakkame edaspidi
avaldama igakuist veomahtude statistikat järgneva kuu esimese viie tööpäeva
jooksul.

Statistics for February 2008 and II quarter of 2007/2008 financial year
Message
In February 2008 AS Tallink Grupp transported 606,058 passengers which is the
best result in the current financial year so far. The number of transported
passengers increased by 33% compared to the February 2007 whereas the
improvement in passenger transportation was seen on all our routes. The highest
increase came from Tallinn-Helsinki route where the number of passengers
increased by 51%. This positive development is mainly the result of the
operations of new Shuttle vessel “Star”, being the only high speed vessel
resistant to the difficult weather conditions in winter.
AS Tallink Grupp's passenger, cargo unit and passenger car numbers for February
2008 and second quarter of the 2007/2008 financial year were the following:

The following operational factors influenced the development.
FINLAND-SWEDEN
The sale of M/S SkyWind in August 2007 resulted in smaller capacities in
February 2008 compared to February 2007.
M/S Silja Europa schedule has been changed. Instead of Turku-Kapellskär the
vessel now operates on route Turku-Stockholm.
M/S Sea Wind schedule was changed so that the vessel will not stop in the Aland
Islands any more. As a result the vessel is now carrying only cargo units
compared to passenger, car and cargo mix before.
ESTONIA-FINLAND
Tallink Shuttle service with new M/S Star was operated between Tallinn and
Helsinki route compared to operations of M/S Vana Tallinn and M/S Kapella in the
same period of last year.
ESTONIA-SWEDEN
Cargo vessel M/S Kapella did not operate in January 2008 due to scheduled
docking and returned to operations on 4th of February.
LATVIA-SWEDEN
The operations of two vessels and everyday departures to both destinations
compared to one vessel operations in previous financial year have increased the
volumes on Latvia-Sweden route.
M/S Regina Baltica did not operate for 6 days in February 2008 due to scheduled
docking.
FINLAND-GERMANY
The traffic results were affected by the increased competition in cargo
transportation.
As a result of the new group-wide booking system the availability of
statistical data has improved. Therefore from now on we will publish the
monthly statistics during the first five business days of the following month.
