05.12.2007.a. otsustas AS-i Tallink Grupp juhatus kasutada üldkoosoleku poolt antud õigust ning käivitada aktsiate tagasiostuprogramm. Tagasiostu periood algas 10.12.2007. a. ning lõppes 17.01.2008. a. Kokku ostis AS Tallink Grupp tagasiostuprogrammi raames perioodil 10.12.2007. a. kuni 17.01.2008. a. 3 935 000 oma aktsiat, mis moodustab kokku 0,584% aktsiakapitalist. Aktsiate eest tasuti kokku 4,16 miljonit eurot (65,1 miljonit krooni). Aktsiate kesmiseks tagasiostu hinnaks kujunes 1,057 eurot (16,54 krooni) aktsia kohta. Aktsiate tagasiostuprogrammi teostati vastavalt Euroopa Komisjoni määrusele nr. 2273/2003, 22.12.2003, mis sätestab erandid kauplemisele oma aktsiatega tagasiostuprogrammide raames. Aktsiate tagasiostu täideviijaks ja korraldajaks oli Hansapank, kes eraldi kokkuleppe alusel teostas aktsiate tagasiostu Tallinki nimel. Programmi täideviimisel oli Hansapank kauplemisotsuste tegemisel iseseisev järgides kehtivaid tingimusi ning piiranguid ilma, et Tallink saaks mõjutada aktsiate ostuaega. Share buyback transactions

Acting under the granted authorization by the Shareholders General Meeting the Management Board of AS Tallink Grupp decided on 05.12.2007 to initiate the share buyback program. The share buyback period started on 10 December 2007 and ended on 17 January 2008. During the share buyback program AS Tallink Grupp bought back total of 3 935 000 own shares, which is 0.584% of the total share capital. The total contribution for the shares amounted to EUR 4.16 million (EEK 65.1 million). The average share price paid was EUR 1.057 (EEK 16.54) per share. This share buyback program was implemented in accordance with the provisions of the European Commission's regulation no. 2273/2003 of December 2003, which protects listed companies against violation of insider legislation in connection with share buybacks. Tallink appointed Hansapank as lead manager of the program, who under a separate agreement with Tallink bought back shares on behalf of Tallink. Hansapank was independent on its trading decisions irrespective of and without influence from Tallink as to the timing of the purchases as well as carried out the buyback according to the regulations and within the set framework of the programme.
