SIA Merks, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, and SIA Lidl Latvija have entered into
a contract to build a logistics centre with a total area of ca. 47,000 square
metres situated on Ulbrokas street in Riga.
The construction of the logistics centre will include construction of a
warehouse and an adjacent administration building with supporting facilities and
infrastructure.
The value of the contract is EUR 42.5 million, plus value added tax. The
construction works will start in September 2018 and they are scheduled to be
completed in January 2020.
